EUnited Teacher Fellows Program
This fellowship aims to help teachers go deep with their knowledge of Europe and the European Union. It offers CES the opportunity to accompany teachers on their learning journey, and create lasting relationships with engaged educators. It will allow teachers to find new ways to infuse EU content into their classrooms, and in turn increase young people’s understanding of Europe and the EU.
8-Month Teacher Fellows Program
The EUnited Fellows Program consists of:
- Content sessions and meetings with UNC Faculty and Staff on specialized EU Topics
- Sessions with the UNC European Librarian
- A social media workshop
- Pedagogy tips, lesson plan workshops, and Q&A
- Film screening and discussion

The EUnited Program is free of cost to selected applicants.
Selected applicants will receive:
- Mileage reimbursement for trips to/from the Opening Orientation and Closing Conference
- Hotel accommodation & meals during the Opening Orientation and Closing Conference
- $500 stipend
Who is eligible?
North Carolina K-12 Teachers
Selected Fellows must be able to:
- Attend both the Opening Orientation and Closing Conference
- Create and share a lesson plan
- Publish 3 blog posts throughout the 8-month fellowship covering topics of specific interest to that Fellow
